Web Site Development
For this week we have been learning how to create a website, which was a fun yet challenging task because of all the code that we had to do and making sure everything was in the right place. I rarely faced any difficulties during this assignment because whatever I didn't know or was unsure about there was always my partner of my teacher to ask for help. During my lifetime if later in the future I decide to later pursue a career that deals with programming or developing a website I could use my knowledge of programming to help me. Although the chances of me going into programming is slim, I still believe it's an important skill.

Web Site Design & First Imppressions
A survey I read recently states that a persons takes about 2.5 seconds to determine an impression on a page and longer than 2.6 seconds in order for the user to actually focus on an area that catches their attention. They determined this by using an eye-tracking software and infrared camera in Missouri S&T's laboratory for information technology evaluation, where they monitored the students eyes movement as they scanned the web pages. Hop this would compare to my list is in a way similar but different at the same time because the survey had things that were in my list and others that weren't. This would affect my page because then I would be more aware of how the eyes work and I will be then able to create a website page that is attractive.
